We work with people with dementia

It is important to us that all our work is based on what people with dementia want.

People with dementia help us by:

Telling us their views and experiences
Helping us with our projects
Challenging stigma and stereotypes about dementia.

We call the group of people who work with us 'ThinkTank'. We have short film you can watch that was made by some ThinkTank members.

We work with people with dementia in a number of ways:

We arrange small meetings with 3-4 other people with dementia to discuss different topics.
We talk to people individually.
We keep people informed of our work by post.
We telephone people to ask for their views.
We also email people, if they prefer.
